What is done :
1. Angle readings are measured for all wheels.
2. The steering wheel is centred.
3. Front wheels are centred to the rear thrust line and set to manufacturer’s specifications.
Frequency : As a general rule, a vehicle’s tyres need to be checked every 20,000 kms or at least once a year.
Reason: Improper alignment is a major cause of premature tyre wear. A properly aligned vehicle adds 100s of kms to the life of your tyres and will stop your car dragging to the side of the road. With all the system components aligned properly, road shock is more efficiently absorbed for a smoother ride.
