 What is done : Injectors are flushed with special chemical cleaner and cleaned out.
Frequency : (NIL to do with kms) needs to be done every -18 months.
Reason : Dirt in the fuel can get blocked around the injectors and then reside in the valves and pistons, causing the engine to misfire and make the car ‘run rough’ and damage the engine. Cleaning the injectors regularly ensures a vehicle runs more fuel-efficient and less wear and tear on the engine.
