What is done : The Automatic Transmission Service includes replacement of transmission fluid, cleaning and/or replacement of filter plus necessary adjustments made to prevent slipping. A replacement transmission kit is utilised.

Frequency : Needs to be done b/w 12-18 months or every 30,000 km.

Reason: The fluid deteriorates over time and the filters too, as they get dirty through much usage, so they need to be replaced otherwise your transmission will start to slip.
